Weird Weekend

Saw my mom, three of my best friends, drove 15 hours in three days, bought lemon, green tea, raspberry, Earl Grey, and café flavored macarons at the Chicago French Market, sort of attended the St. Patrick's Day parade downtown, went to a weird party in Milwaukee, had three emotional breakdowns, had a drunken banter about Nicholas Ghesquière at Louis Vuitton, listened to three episodes of The X-Files Files while driving.

I love sticking to a uniform. Right now I've been wearing black bottoms in the form of leggings or jeans (or shorts on a good day), white v-neck t-shirt or a striped long sleeve tee, this thrifted Levi's jacket and black Nikes. My mom's hand-me-down turquoise cuff and gold bracelet and bargain tortoise shell glasses have been serving as accessories.

Trying to Spring

Starting with a very fresh March: new plant friends and new hair care routine - this Moroccan Oil hydrating hair mask is ace for people with dry and thin hair like myself. I'm slowing reviving my thick locks that I lost when I was a pre-teen.

And the weather down here in the south has been fabulous: high 50s, mid 60s (and getting warmer) with a chance of fresh rain everyday. Getting back on track with a new job and school at community college. I'm making March my January.
