About the Author

Samantha Kanne is a 27 year-old writer, reader, and culture junkie. She has a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master's degree in Information Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She currently works as a photo archivist at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. This blog has been her off and on outlet for creative consumption and meanderings for ten years.

Originally from Los Angeles, Samantha has spent time in Indiana, Chicago, and now calls Nashville home. She is incredibly passionate about story telling whether that be through film, music, design, or - of course - literature. When she isn't consuming any text from the previous four mediums, she's probably doing yoga, talking about dogs, and/or getting a burrito.

Her desert island record is Depeche Mode's Music for the Masses and she most identifies with Katarina Stratford of 10 Things I Hate About You.
